Once a room type & property has been chosen by the tenant, Castle Student Accommodation (“Castle”) will reserve the room/property for a period of 7 days (or longer if both parties agree) to allow the tenant to review, sign the agreement and pay the required deposit. Upon completing these items, the deposit will go towards the rent payable under the terms of the agreement.
If a tenant otherwise decides not to proceed with the reservation after 14 days the upfront deposit of 1 month will be forfeited.
Once an occupancy agreement (“the agreement”) has been signed, the tenant must comply with the terms and conditions of the agreement. Under the terms of the agreement, the tenant is required to pay the rental due for the term of the agreement. If the tenant wants to cancel their agreement with Castle Student Accommodation (“Castle”) they will be required to find a replacement tenant to take over the agreement. This will incur a cancellation/administration fee of 1 week’s rent.
