Student Castle Cancellation Policy (Scotland) 

Once you have paid your holding deposit and you have been allocated a room, then should you decide to cancel prior to the start of the licence period you will be entitled to a full refund of the Holding Deposit. 

If you decide to cancel after the start of your licence period then you will be held to the terms of your licence agreement. The deposit can be used to cover any outstanding rent in these circumstances. 

Covid19 

As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Scottish Government has introduced the Coronavirus (Scotland) (No. 2) Bill . This allows renters to give 28 days notice to quit their licence to occupy, whatever the length of their licence agreement.
