Plans change, we get it. If you’d like to terminate early, we require a 60 day minimum notice. We consider notice effective from the 1st day of the next rental period. For example, if you submit your 60 days notice on May 15th, we will count 60 days from June 1st. Should you wish to exercise the option to terminate your lease prior to the agreed upon end date, we require a surrender fee equal to 1 month rent if your requested new lease end date is between May 1st and August 31st. For requests with new lease end date between September 1st and April 30th, the termination fee is 1.5 month rent. Fee is paid upfront at the date of the notice. Our pre-move-in cancellation policy helps ensure that we have enough time to find a new tenant to occupy the unit that you were originally scheduled to move into.
